Ferrero Rocher

Here is my beautiful golden box of goodies I received from Influenster. This product was complimentary for testing and review purposes.

I was a little reluctant to open it as it came in such a beautiful box! But I had to open it because my children kept bugging me to do it. I think they wanted a piece! At last, I opened it and handed out 3 pieces to my little munchkins and I took a piece also. We took our first bites and were hooked! This stuff was amazing! I'm not a big fan of Hazelnut, but I really didn't taste it as the chocolate and wafer was just so good!

Here is a little bit of history about Ferrero Rocher. Ferrero Rocher is a unique and delicious chocolate experience made by Italian chocolatier Ferrero, since 1982. The chocolates are a tempting combination of smooth chocolaty cream surrounding a whole hazelnut; within a delicate, crisp wafer. . . all enveloped in milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnuts. The chocolates are individually wrapped in gold foil. 

I was a good girl and stopped eating after having 4 of these! I was a bad girl and left it out where my kids and husband could get to it and when I awoke the next day, all the candies were gone! I will not make that mistake again!

Torani Syrups-Not just for flavoring drinks

Contrary to what the title says, I actually used these to flavor drinks and one other thing so far! I am not a big fan of flavored syrups unless they are chocolate, which Torani has, but I haven't gotten yet! I was a little reluctant to try these as I'm old fashioned and set in my ways! As you can see, in the picture the Salted Caramel is already open. It. Was. Delicious! My husband tried some in his coffee and just couldn't stop saying how good it was. He even made me try a sip. I hate coffee, so this was a little hard for me to do, but it actually tasted good!

My husband was a little reluctant to try these, but after putting a little bit of the Salted Caramel on my finger and just gushing about how good it tasted, he went for it. I used the Peppermint in some Hot Cocoa and that was pretty good. I couldn't convince my children to try these, but who cares. Let them miss out on all the deliciousness!

I thought I would try out a recipe I had found for Caramel Popcorn and use the Salted Caramel. Lets just say that I will be making that again! I love Caramel Popcorn and have been wanting to make my own and now I can whenever I want, or until I run out of my syrup and have to buy more!

If you like to bake or drink a lot of warm or even cold drinks, then these syrups are for you. They come in so many different flavors also, so you can have your pick! I hope you experiment like I did and come up with some cool recipes!

Influenster is a cool site to be on for a few hours. I think I was on there a total of 4 hours this past Saturday and Sunday trying to get my badges and writing and sharing reviews. It gets addicting after a while!

     They updated their site since I've been a memeber and I am loving the new layout. Anyone can sign up to be an Influenster and I think everyone should. You have a chance to get what are called Voxboxes. They are packed full of goodies. I've received a few Voxboxes from them and have loved each one. 

     If you love sharing your thoughts, views or even opinions, then this is the place to be. I've learned a lot just from reading reviews. I am always having problems with choosing what products to get for myself or others.

Dino Lingo-Language Programs for Kids

Dino Lingo is a language learning program for kids and even adults. I viewed their video on Youtube courtesy of Influenster about French and me and my children were engrossed in it. The graphics were cute and held my children's attentions. The words were spoken and written on the screen. I think this helps to learn the language better in my opinion.

I chose French because this is the language I took in High School and I still love speaking it. Too bad no one understands me! LOL I want to show my children that learning a new language is easy and can be fun in the process. I had a wonderful French teacher that I will never forget  who made the class fun. I couldn't wait to get to her class everyday!

     For my review, I was sent a Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit. Before I even got to open it, my 3 children were already fighting over it wanting to be the first ones to try it! I now have a schedule in place for them to use it until I can buy 2 more of these.

     So far, we have used it for sandwiches, chips and applesauce. I want to put different things in there, but my children are very picky eaters! It actually keeps everything cold. I was surprised at this as I have some experience with reusable ice packs melting before it was even time to eat!

     The containers are very versatile as you can use all of them at once or just use a few or even one. My children carry reusable lunch boxes and these fit perfectly inside even with a juice pouch, soda can, or water bottle. The ice pack even kept the drinks cold!

     We are a recycling type of family and these are perfect for us as it keeps refuse out of landfills. I try to buy reusable items as often as I can. 

     I just can't say enough about these! They are awesome for anyone who has children who take lunch or any meal to school or with them somewhere or even adults. Hopefully the children will allow me to use it one day!

New Palmolive Fresh Sponge Dishwashing Liquid

I just received the new Palmolive Fresh Sponge today for free from Influenster. I received a full size bottle of Palmolive Fresh Sponge Dishwashing Liquid, a sponge and 6 coupons. I haven't tried it yet as I am a dishwasher user! And when I do do dishes in the sink I always use Dawn.  I will have to try it out and report back on it. I like anything that will make my sponge not smell after using it for a while. I can only use a sponge for a week before it starts to smell and I've tried everything to try to get rid of the smell and keep my sponge longer, but alas, I usually just throw it away as nothing seems to work.

Here is the claim from Palmolive: "Palmolive Fresh Sponge was designed as a dual-action formula: it not only cleans dishes to a sparkling shine, but also washes away odor causing residue from sponges (to help you say good-bye to stinky sponges!)."

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler & Giveaway

Our family loves to recycle and this is an easy and convenient way to do this. For my review, I was sent a Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler.


Here are a few stats about the Hidden Recycler;

• Easy attachment to a cabinet door with hooks included with the product or screws (not included).
• A 5 gallon bag that holds up to 36 12 ounce cans and can fit a milk jug.
• The bag is soft-sided allowing for flexibility inside any cabinet.

 The bag and all packaging is made from recyclable material and the product is recyclable.

The Hidden Recycler was very easy to assemble, once I did it myself and didn't have my daughter helping me! The Hidden Recycler easily attached to my kitchen cabinet with two hooks over the door or you can choose to attach it permanently with two screws directly to the cabinet door. There were no screws included, so you will have to find some that are lying around the house or buy some.  I found the Hidden Recycler so convenient and discreet!  Our town doesn't offer a curb side service for recyclables.

      My solution for home recycling has been reusing plastic shopping bags to store our aluminum cans. I hated seeing my white Walmart bags hanging from a cabinet or door knob.

      The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler has provided a great solution to clear up my cabinets and door knobs and get rid of those plastic bags!  I like the recycled material the fabric of the bag is constructed out of. My kids will leave a bit of liquid in the bottom of a can and it doesn't leak at all through the bag and make a mess.  When it is full, I take the entire bag by the handle to dump out into our designated recycle can.    My family loves it and I think you will also!
