Now I Shall Share My SECRET!

Yes, we went to Disneyland. The children were so excited even though they were upset that we didn't really get to go to the beach! A good time was had by all. I was surprised that my Dad actually stayed with us at both parks. We went to Disneyland and California Adventure. California Adventure was not really that fun to me. I did enjoy the White Water Rafting ride, but that is all. At least the kids enjoyed most of the rides.

Everyone loved Soaring Over California at CA. I must admit that I did close my eyes for some of the parts as I hate heights. Yeah, I'm a big baby! LOL

Since I have always loved Space Mountain, I had to take everyone on it. The only person who didn't like it my son. He is only 5 and we scared him for the other rides. Although he did ride the baby roller coaster at CA. Might have to go back when he is over 10 so he can enjoy the rides.

I really don't have much to say that is funny as nothing funny happened. I was upset as the Pirates of the Caribbean ride was shut down. I so wanted to see Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Maybe next time.

I only posted a few pictures as I took too many to put in a blog. I hope everyone will remember this trip for a long time. I know I remember every time that I have been to Disneyland and I only have good memories of being there.

I hope you all enjoy the few pictures that I did post.

Getting their grub on!

Getting Goofy's autograph. Did not get too many as the lines were long for some of the characters.
Playing in the nice, green grass. We do not have grass at home, only rocks. Can't run barefoot in rocks!

Just took a picture. Did not ride as I hate elevators to begin with! My husband and oldest daughter did ride it though and loved it!

The Hotel we stayed in for a week. On the 11th floor of course. Didn't I say I hate elevators?!?!

Me and my hubby with Eeyore. I have always loved Eeyore!

All 3 of my munchkins with Towmater at California Adventure.

The bear that guards the entrance to the White Water Rafting ride. It was only me and the girls and we went early in the morning. It was a bit cold!

I have a SECRET

I am very good at keeping secrets, but the closer it gets to the secret day it's getting harder to not tell my children. I've almost slipped a few times.

My Dad is taking our whole family on vacation and he wanted it to be a secret because it is a treat for the children. He wants to see their faces when he lets them in on it. I know I'm very excited as I haven't been to this place in 25 years.

I can't wait to take a million pictures of the children and my Dad. Hopefully he can handle being around all 3 as all  his children are grown! I will be praying for him. Ha ha. I might need prayer for myself also!

I will blog about what happened and pictures after the BIG event. I am so excited to see their faces also. I'm wishing time would hurry up just this once!

Legit Survey Sites

Here are some of the survey sites that I belong to and have been with for several years. I'm not sure who is accepting new people and I'm not sure which ones you need a referral, but you can check them out and see what happens. If you do need a referral, you can either ask me or someone else you know who is also involved with that site.

Here we go!:
1. www.zoompanel.com   You receive points for doing surveys and then you can use those points to get items. I usually get enough points to get 2 or 4 items a year. It all depends on which level you spend your points!
2. www.mindfieldonline.com  You get paid cash for these surveys. It is either by check or PayPal.
3. www.valuedopinions.com  You get cash for these also, but the only option available is gift cards. They used to have checks and a prepaid card, but have done away with them. I put mine onto an Amazon gift card as that is where I do all my Christmas shopping.
4.www.mysurvey.com  You get points that you can redeem for either cash or gifts. I usually opt for cash. Can't beat cold, hard cash!
5. www.epoll.com  You get points for surveys and can redeem them for gift cards. They also offer PayPal.
6. www.harrispollonline.com  You get points for taking surveys and then can redeem them for gifts.
7. www.globalopinionpanels.com You get points for surveys and then can redeem them for cash or shopping vouchers. They only send checks for the cash at this time, but hopefully in the near future they will have another way of getting our cash to us.
8. www.surveysavvy.com You get paid cash for taking their surveys. They only pay by check and they take a long time in sending them out. It says anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks.
9. www.opinionoutpost.com You get paid cash for doing surveys. They have several options for getting your money. I have the Visa Prepaid Card. There are no fees involved if you transfer money onto the card every 3 months and then use  your card at least once in that same time period. I always make enough cash to transfer onto my card every 3 months, so it works out for me.
10.www.opinionsquare.com You get points for taking surveys and can redeem them for gifts.
11. www.erewards.com I think you have to be involved with one of their affiliate websites to get into erewards. I am a member of UPromise and when I cash out, that is where my money goes.
12. www.acop.com You get cash for taking these surveys. They only pay by check, but it comes quickly!
13. www.clearvoicesurveys.com They also pay cash and have a few different options on how you receive it. I put mine onto Amazon.

I know there are other survey sites out there, but I think I do enough as it is! I hope you have fun giving your opinion and have fun racking up the cash and points!

Just living my life

I have not posted recently as I really have nothing to say. I've just been working and trying to keep my children entertained while on their summer break.

We went swimming today and we all had fun. I did get the good fortune to get myself sunburned again. One day I will learn to put on sunblock!

Really don't have too much more to add. My children have not done anything funny yet and I definitely don't do anything funny.

Hopefully by the next time I post, there will be some good stories to write about!

The Factor Tree

Our family got to try out a website called www.thefactortree.com because I'm a BzzAgent. It is a website that has a variety of math for children in Kindergarten and up. I have children aged 5, 9, and 12 and they all tested out this site.

My 5 year old really wasn't  into doing math and I helped him out. I was surprised at the questions asked as I didn't think they would be doing that kind of math at that age. He only used the site for about an hour.

My 9 year old had a hard time with her math problems as well. She is in third grade. She was on the site for an hour also.

My 12 year old cheated on most of her math problems, but she knew what the questions were asking. She was only on there for an hour also.

None of my children wanted to go back to the site, but I thought it was pretty cool and I hate math! I think this site is a cool idea if you have a child or children who are having problems in math. There is a link on the site that will tell you what your children have been doing and how well. It is any easy site to navigate through. You can add as many children as you like as I didn't see a cut off on how many you could have on there. There is also a calendar that will let you know if your child did not work that day.

I would recommend this site for homeschoolers or children just having problems with math or for children who can't get enough math!

If you would like to try it out here is what you can do:  use BZF for a free 2 week trial.

This is an excerpt from their site:
  • Provides the practice and repetition needed for a child to truly master key math skills
  • Use a skill-adaptive progression algorithm to pinpoint each child’s true skill level
  • Provides parents with helpful reports, metrics and notifications to track their child’s progress
  • Combines a state testing-compliant curriculum, world class educational theories and innovative technology to create a better learning tool.

My Weekend

This was a long weekend. It started Thursday as that was my daughters 12th birthday. We had a pool party at her Grandpa's house. Only one of her friends showed up, but it was her best friend and she didn't mind. The water was too cold for me to join in the fun!

On Friday, my oldest daughter had a basketball game for the Special Olympics. She was a 'helper' for the challenged children. It was very fun watching everyone play.

On Saturday, my oldest daughter had 2 more basketball games to play to see who won the Special Olympic tournament. Her team came in second place. We all enjoyed watching all the children and adults have fun playing! There was a little boy there named Mario and he had Down's Syndrome who was just the cutest little thing! My son kept talking about him because he liked his name. My son is really into Super Mario Kart for the Wii. I don't know where he gets that from!

Saturday afternoon, we went to a softball park to watch my husband umpire some games. I'm not really into softball, but I do enjoy watching my hubby do his job.

The only time I was at home was late at night and sleeping for about 6 hours before the next day started. I really enjoy my sleep, so I was a happy camper when I got to stay home today and do 5 loads of laundry and listen to my children argue! LOL

Hopefully tomorrow I can ChaCha and clean my house as all the children are going back to school from having a 2 week Spring Break. If anyone wants to come party with me, just let me know! Ha Ha!

My Opinion on 3 Olay Regenerist Products

I received these products for free to test, 1 Regenerating Cleanser Cream, 1 Wrinkle Revolution Complex and 1 Regenerating Serum. They were all full size and not samples.

The Regenerating Cleanser Cream said that it was supposed to exfoliate to detoxify and speed cells' natural regeneration process. It lived up to what it said and my expectations. It was not rough on the face and actually left my face feeling smooth. This came in the size 5 FL OZ and I used this product twice a day for two weeks.  I would recommend this product if you are in the market for this type of facial cleanser.

The Wrinkle Revolution Complex was supposed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and be used twice a day. I did not notice any difference in my fine lines or wrinkles and used this twice a day for two weeks. It does not say how long to use the product before seeing results, but maybe I'm impatient, but after two weeks, there should have been some type of subtle change. It came in 1.7 FL OZ and there is still a lot left in this little can. I would not recommend this product if you are looking for something that works quickly to reduce fine lines or wrinkles.

The Regenerating Serum was supposed to leave your skin feeling velvety smooth with a younger-looking, regenerated appearance. This lived up to what it said and my expectations. I loved how soft and smooth it left my face feeling. You can use this product one or twice a day and I used it once a day. It comes in 1.7 FL OZ. I would recommend this product if you like to have soft, touchable skin.

I loved the scent on all of these products. They do have other products in the line which look like they might be fun to try, but I only got to try these 3 together. They are made to work with one another.

Just remember, these are my opinions from testing out the product and my end results. I enjoy any comments you leave about these products to try to change my mind about purchasing other products in this line or even the ones I didn't like very well!

Just Starting

This should be interesting. I'm just starting this blog and we shall see what happens. I'm a shy person and don't really have a lot to say, but I will try to do my best with what I have in mind for this blog.

I work from home for an internet search company named ChaCha. I have been with them for 3 years. I also do a lot of surveys with different companies. I get cash, gift cards, and points which I can redeem for cash or prizes. I also get test products to try out. I think this is the best option out of all the others. I do get paid for trying them out, but I always like to find out what is new in the market place before other people.

I'm trying to get my daughter into surveys to make some extra cash or get some test products, but she finds it boring. It does get boring after a while, but I keep telling myself that this is extra money or gifts that I did not have before.

I've always been a shy person. I think it stems from moving a lot while I was little. It always made me sad when we moved because I would make friends and then have to leave. Maybe that is why I haven't made a lot of friends in my lifetime. I don't like being sad. I prefer to laugh and enjoy life. I think laughter can really make you change your whole attitude on life. I know I feel better after laughing. My husband can make me laugh just by laughing because his laugh is contagious!

I have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls. I think that is a good combination. I was only wanting one of each, but God had other ideas. My oldest, Bobby, who will be 20 in April, is hopefully living the life that he wants. We don't speak much, it's a long story and I'm not going to tell it here, but I know he is in God's hands. My second oldest child is Kiara, she will be 12 in a few weeks, thinks she is about 30. Sometimes I think she is also because of what she does around the house and the way she acts. The third oldest, Naomi, is 9 and is a little spitfire or spunky, whatever you want to call it! She likes to try us all the time. The fourth oldest, Xavier, is 5 and loves to get dirty and break things apart. I think most boys are like this!

That is a short summary of my life and children and hope to do justice with this blog by keeping up with it and letting you all know what is going on.
